With an area of 400 square kilometers core area encompassing rocky hill crests which descend to open valleys between the Aravali and Vindhya ranges, dotted with water pools and fruit trees, this park gets its name from the thousand year old fortress, which looms above the forest. Well known for the diurnal activity of tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past. Sambardeer, chital, chinkara, neelgai and langoor. The elusive Tigers, Leopards,sloth beers, hyena and many more species found in this reserve with tourists standing a very good chance of seeing this beauty of nature during the day. Dotted across the landscape are the crumbling ruins of its past glory, be it chatrisor cupolas, like palaces or old guard posts, all of which reinforce the magicaland ethereal quality of this great wilderness.
Day 1: New Delhi to Ranthambore
Delhi - the capital of India, is a fascinating city with complexitiesand contradictions, beauty and dynamism, where the past co-exists with thepresent. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in thearchitecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis ofIndia but also a resting place. Because of its location, being on the banks ofthe river Yamuna, many cities have risen and fallen over the last fivemillenniums.
Day 2: Ranthambore
Morning tea then excursion for Safari at 6:00 am to the sanctuary onjeep/canter, 9:45 am Breakfast, 12:30 pm, Lunch and will proceed for evening safariat 1:00 pm sharp on jeep/canter, evening tea at 6:30 pm, rest and dinner at theresort at 8:30 pm.
Morning and afternoon visit the sanctuary on Jeep/canter with an Englishspeaking Naturalist.
Overnight in Ranthambore
Day 3: Ranthambore to Delhi
Early morning safari and breakfast at resort and proceed to Sawai Madhopur railway station to catch the train for Delhi. Here your tour ends up with Zion Holidays. Go back to your homes with sweat memories of the trip to RTR with Zion Holidays
