Day 1
Ahmedabad
 
Get greeted by the tour cooperator on arrival at Ahmedabad. On reaching visit the Calico Museum of Textiles and other museums exhibiting textiles and handicrafts.
 
Located on the banks of Sabarmati River, Ahemdabad was once the capital of Gujarat and is the largest city in the state of Gujarat. Also known as Karnavati, Ahemdabad is also an important commercial center of India and is visited by large number of both leisure and business tourists. Ahmedabad is also a major center for textiles and handiwork and has interesting markets and bazaars.
 
Day 2
Ahmedabad – Palaces Of Gondal (Five hrs)
 
Day starts with a drive to Sayla. On reaching, take lunch at a textiles hotel and visit nearby villages to watch weavers at work and see local beadwork. Later continue to Gondal, known for its beadwork, silver jewelry and brassware and also visit the cottage industries of Gondal to watch spinners, weavers and other artisans at work. Also visit the famous Naulakha Palace housing a collection of beautiful beadwork, brass utensils, silverware and hand-painted wooden toys from the princely collection.
 
Once a princely state of Kathiawar, Gondal is a beautiful city in the Rajkot district of Gujarat. Founded in 1634, Gondal lies on the banks of Gondali river and is known for its palaces and historical monuments.
 
Day 3
Gondal – Jetpur – Junagadh – Gir
 
Begin your day with a drive to Gir via Jetpur, known for its screen-printing factories, block printing and textile units. Also visit the Junagadh museums exhibiting textiles of the erstwhile Nawab including beautiful carpets.
 
Known for its forts and palaces, Junagadh is a beautiful city situated at foot of mountain Girnar. Located in the Junagadh district of Gujarat, Junagadh was once a princely state of British India.
 
Day 4
Gir – Jamnagar (Four hours)
 
Drive in the Gir Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. Later proceed to Jamnagar known for its bandhini (tie-and-dye) work.
 
Gir in Gujarat is a deciduous forest and is the last abode of the Asiatic lion. Besides, the forest also has a thriving panther (leopard) population. It also has home to large population of chital or spotted deer, sambar, blue bull antelope, chinkara gazelle, chousingha (the world’s only four-horned antelope), wild boar and other wildlife. Besides, you will also see a large number of avian population on the game-drive trail.
 
Day 5
Jamnagar – Sharma Resorts, Kutch (Four hours)
 
Head for Anjar city in the Kutch district which is a centre for textile and metal handicrafts. On reaching transfer at Sharma Resorts, the only four-star resort in the Kutch District. Besides, visit Gandhidam known for its excellent textile market.
 
Earlier known as Nawanagar and located to the south of the Gulf of Kutch, Jamnagar is a beautiful city built up by Maharaja Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji.
 
Day 6
Explore Kutch
 
Drive to Bhuj the next day and on the way visit villages known for their ajrakh block printing, Ahir embroidery, Rabari embroidery and master weavers. Spend rest of the day visiting markets and monuments.
 
Surrounded by Gulf of Kachch and the Arabian Sea, Kutch is the largest district in the Gujarat state of India.
 
Day 7
Full Day Village Tour
 
Day starts with a visit to the villages of Sodha Rajputs, Muslim pastoral groups like the Jaths and Muthwas and their sub-groups, Hindu pastoral groups like the Rabaris, Meghwal Harijans and other communities known for their exquisite embroidery.
 
Overnight stay.
 
Day 8
Kutch – Dasada (Four hours)
 
Dasada is known for its Vadiara Rabari and Bharwad embroidery. Also, visit weavers and other artisans.
 
Day 9
Dasada – Patan – Dasada
 
Patan is known for Patola Silk Weaving, a rare double-ikat weaving technique.
 
Day 10
Dasada – Ahmedabad
 
Depart by surface to Ahmedabad arrive and check-in to hotel. Overnight stay
 
Day 11
Ahmedabad
 
Departure transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.
