Eucalyptus oil has a history of wide application, as a pharmaceutical, antiseptic, repellent, flavouring, fragrance and industrial uses. The leaves of selected Eucalyptus species are steam distilled to extract eucalyptus oil. Appearance:- Colorless or light yellow liquid. Odor:- Cool aroma with some camphor odor. Relative density:- 0.905 ~ 0.915 Refractive index:- 1.4580 ~ 1.4700 Optical rotation-: -10°~+10° Solubility:- Easy soluble in 75% ethanol. Uses:- • Stuffy nose. • Wounds. • Burns. • Ulcers. • Acne. • Bleeding gums. • Bladder diseases. • Diabetes. • Fever. • Flu. • Liver and gallbladder problems. • Loss of appetite. STORAGE:- 1. In well fitted container in cool and dark place with temperature around 25° C. 2. The drums should be kept closed when not in use.
