Impellers in agitated tanks are used fluid mixing or slurry mixing in the tank. This can be used to combine various materials together. To meet varied flow regime created, two types of impellers for agitated tanks are supplied including axial flow impeller and radial flow impeller. The material of construction is suitably selected considering the required conditions such as temperature, chemical concentration, etc. Radial flow impellers are used to mix immiscible liquids or very viscous fluids. Axial flow impellers are used on homogenization processes.
