Various forms of classical, vocal music, like Thumri , Dadra , Khayaal and Tappa are all rendred and taught by masters who are experts in their own right.. Learning traditional form of vocal music has a very strong following in India and aspiring singers make all efforts to master this difficult art because it is said that anyone who is strong mastery over the “Raags” can master the art of singing.
"Raag" is the foundation of all vocals; it may be overt or covert but definitely without "raag" there can be no singing!. Classical singing is all about "raag" and their modulations which can be inculcated in the students by well trained and apt masters who have their place at the Lyrics Academy….the teachers at Lyrics Academy have mastered this art and feel pleasure in sharing it with their students.
