RO Antiscalant
RO antiscalants, sometimes called scale inhibitors, are specialized chemical formulations that are added to increase the solubility of sparingly soluble salts. In reverse osmosis systems CaCO3, CaSO4, SrSO4, BaSO4 and CaF are the most common scales of concern. The use of such antiscalants can form an essential component in the operation of well run reverse osmosis systems.
