Carbon Sealing Rings face rings in various sizes and designs and with close dimensional tolerance for use as an integral part of mechanical seals in general utility pumps and chemical pumps. Carbon Sealing Rings are used as the wear face of most mechanical seals for the sealing of fluids in all industries.
Carbon sealing rings are compatible with a wide range of metallic & ceramic counter faces including silicon carbide and tungsten carbide.
The carbon material used are done different impregnation as per the requirement of each machine & liquid medias. Some of the commonly used impregnation are Resin impregnation. Metal impregnation etc.

Material Used:
Carbon metal impregnation to suit temp. up to 350° to 400° c
Carbon resin impregnated (sinthered process) to suit temperature upto 350° to 400° cls.
Carbon without impregnated (sinthered process) to suit temperature upto 550° cls.
Endogenous carbon (press to mould) to suit temperature upto 180° C.
