Counting Based Pedestrian Controller
Counting Based Pedestrian Controller
The main motto of these pedestrian controllers is to give information to the pedestrians regarding the time left to traverse the road at signalized traffic circle. The controllers find their application in various school zones, pedestrian clearance interval greater than 15 seconds, high pedestrian volumes, and high levels of vehicular traffic conflicting with pedestrians and presence of mobility-impaired pedestrians. Other specifications includes gasket that is used for waterproof sealing, size: 200mm-300mm, UV stabilized clear polycarbonate lens, operating range: -40c to +70c, voltage: 230v a/c, 12v dc, 24v dc, power factor 0.9 and full circle indication modes.

We provide our clients a wide range of countdown timers that are used as devices for controlling traffic. It consists of a standard pedestrian signal with standard shapes and color, with an added display that shows the countdown of the remaining crossing time. The countdown timer’s starts either at the beginning of the pedestrian phase. The timer continues counting down through the pedestrian clearance interval. So at the end of it the pedestrian gets an indication of “don’t walk” objective: its main objective is to provide information to pedestrians about how much time is left to cross the street at signalized intersections.
Applications:
-
pedestrian clearance interval greater than 15 seconds
-
high pedestrian volumes
-
high levels of vehicular traffic conflicting with pedestrians
-
presence of mobility-impaired pedestrians
-
school zones
