Seeing beyond what is visible in the foreground and studying it deeply has been her forte from the very beginning. Her study of the human body revealed that the mentally and physically challenged, those born with genetic defects either in the brain or body could actually become normal in the long run, if a prescribed line of treatment could be followed over a considerable period of time these findings came as a shock to Dr. Nutan and frightened her immensely!! Having no desire or intention of curing or working for these special kids just the thought of it scared her!! How would she handle them? How would she take care of them?? She wanted to turn her back and forget all about it, but Dr. Nutan’s conscience did not leave her in peace and she finally after a lot of mental and emotional turmoil relented and chose to take up this work of giving the gift of a normal life to the mentally and physically challenged kids !!
