Fire Retardant Paint is excellent to use in any kind of premises to protect from fire. It is widely used for its unique resistant capacity. NoFire is a non-toxic one-part water base intumescent coating that can be used to coat a wide range of substrates to provide protection from fire up to temperatures of 1200 C.
No Fire looks and appears like any ordinary off the shelf latex paint. However, on exposure to a flame or heat, NoFire will immediately intumesce and swell up to 100 times its thickness, forming a solid barrier between the flame and the substrate, providing an effective insulation and heat shield to protect the substrate.
No Fire can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces including:
Structural Steel, PVC & Plastics, Electrical Cables, Bakelite, Ferrous & Non Ferrous Metal, Fiber Board, Concrete Fiberglass, Brick Wood, Rubber Composites etc. NoFire can be coated on the above materials. It can be used as a primer on which any latex based or PU paint can be top coated. NoFire can also be used as a top coat and be given a decorative finish.
