Hydraulic Brake Fluid
It is a silicone based fluid that is formulated specifically for use in Hydraulic Brake Systems to provide corrosion protection and lubrication. In comparison to DOT 3 & DOT 4 brake fluids, DOT 5 provides higher thermal stability and higher dry and wet boiling points. In addition, being silicone based, DOT 5 is hydrophobic and will not absorb water.
