Copper phosphorus shots is an effective way to refine silicon metal in hypereutectic aluminium alloys. Earlier phosphorus was added during melting in the form of chlorine phosphorus tablets which produce much smoke and resulted in a highly polluted atmosphere which was very harmful & injurious to the health of the workers.
To avoid these ill effects our engineers has come up with an innovative way i.e. COPPER PHOSPHORUS SHOTS to refine silicon without any hazards. In this method the phosphorus silently works and refines silicon more precisely and effectively. Also, there is good recovery of copper achieved at the completion of the process.
