Strontium alloy is suitable for all alloys in gravity die casting, sand casting etc, as grain modifier for Al-Si Hypo-eutectic alloys. It is available in cast waffle form. So there is no chance of moisture and gas pick up like salt based modifiers. It provides more environmental friendly, because there is no chemical reaction involved, crucible life also increased.
