n Karmic astrology, it has been recognised that Rahu is kala or earth life while ketu is the sarpa or the serpent. Also in vedic astrology Ketu is considered as a serpent. Rahu is afraid of Ketu. If all planets in your chart lie between these two nodes- rahu and ketu then you have Kaalsarp yoga. Even if one planet is outside these nodes then there is no Kaalsarp yoga.
