Heated Air Dryer

Double Tower type Air Dryers which dries air quite efficiently as the desiccant is regenerated by heating it. It is recommended for Dew Points upto (-)70 °C to (-)80 °C. 

The regeneration process uses the adsorption heat that has been saved to remove moisture from the desiccant so that it can continue to function.  If the heat is lost too soon, as may happen with high flow rates, the heatless dryer cannot regenerate, and the system breaks down, necessitating prolonged priming at low flow before proceeding.  The dryer lacks a heater, yet it depends on the storage of the heat created by adsorption during the drying process to function continuously.
